I don't know whether the myths and legends about Glastonbury are true, and whether it really has anything to do with King Arthur or not... but I do know that if you visit the town and climb Glastonbury Tor, especially if you ascend via the spiral path that winds around the hill, you'll feel the innate power of the place. It's a feeling that's impossible to define, but as you near the summit your step feels lighter, your spirits rise and your heart gladdens. Don't believe me? Don't knock it unless you've tried it...
